Approved was established in 1991 and Ray the proprietor has over 25 years experience in teaching people to drive. He is also on the ORDIT register (the official register or driving Instructor training) and holder of the city and guilds adult and further education teachers certificate. He has been running driving theory courses at a local collage for the last seventeen years.

We cover the Tameside and Oldham and all surrounding areas.

Before you can apply for your practical driving test, you must pass the theory test. This consists of 50 multi-choice questions of which you need to answer 43 correctly in order to pass. There is also a hazard perception test which shows you 14 clips of film having to identify potential hazards within the film. You need a score of 44 out of 75 to pass this part of the exam.

We offer our pupils free online theory training and one to one theory training if necessary.

You have the choice of taking your lessons in 1 hour-1and a half or 2 hours, or one of our quick pass course.

Pass your test in 6-8 weeks This involves taking about 6 hours a week.
